Future I (Futur I)Czas przyszły I (Futur I)
Futur I is built from werden (conjugated in the present tense, in position two) plus an infinitive at the very end of the clause — the same two-piece pattern the Perfekt uses, just with werden + infinitive instead of haben/sein + participle:
Ich werde morgen nach Berlin fahren.

subj aux everything infinitive
else (end of clause)
In everyday speech, Germans often just use the present tense with a time expression instead (Ich fahre morgen nach Berlin) — Futur I is more common in writing, or when you want to add emphasis, make a promise, or state a prediction/assumption clearly.
werden — present tense (the auxiliary)
Futur I has a second job besides talking about the future: it can express an assumption about the present, usually softened with wohl or sicher — Er wird wohl zu Hause sein (“He’s probably at home” — a guess about right now, not a claim about later).
Common mistakes
- Ich werde fahren morgen nach Berlin.Ich werde morgen nach Berlin fahren. — the infinitive is fixed at the very end, everything else comes before it.
- Ich will nach Berlin fahren morgen. (meaning "I will go")Ich werde morgen nach Berlin fahren. — wollen means "want to", not the future auxiliary "will"; don't confuse werden and wollen even though English "will" can suggest both.
- Ich verspreche, dass ich werde dich anrufen.Ich verspreche, dass ich dich anrufen werde. — inside a dass-clause, werden itself moves to the very end, after the infinitive.

- Ich will nach Berlin fahren morgen. (w znaczeniu "pojadę")Ich werde morgen nach Berlin fahren.
